Elco - Rock Sandbag Erosion Control

The use of specialist geosynthetics for hydraulic and coastal protection applications has become increasingly popular practice in the past decade, especially as a replacement to hard rock and or timber protection systems. ELCO-ROCK is a special non-woven geotextile manufactured from UV-stabilsed polymeric fibres. With their flexibility, robustness and adaptability ELCOROCK containers can be filled with sand to form a flexible user friendly solution against  coastal and river erosion. The Elco- rock sand containers have been successfully used in numerous projects throughout Port Phillip Bay.
